One of my favourite activities of this summer has to be our trip to Parksville. This was our family’s second annual trip, and it really has come to signify the start of summer vacation for me. I have so many great memories – swimming in the pool, kite flying, bonfires, Mooberry wine (if you haven’t tried it, you need to!), endless hours at the playground, and relaxing with some of my most favourite people.
Heading to the beach in June always brings along a big question about the weather, but mother nature was pretty good to us… for the most part! On one rainy day I took the girls beach combing, and we had a blast. Given the weather we’ve had this summer, I thought this series of images really signifies just how I’ve viewed the summer of 2012.
